Current Information about lectures in Master Program Chemistry

 

Summer semester 2023

  • All combined mandatory examinations are separated according to the 8th amendment of the examination regulations (see "Changes due to the new examination regulations").
  • The module "Diffraktionsmethoden zur Strukturanalyse" from Professor Englert will not be hold anymore.
  • The new module "Vom Photon Spin zur Magnetresonanztomografie / From Photon Spin to Magnetic Resonance Imaging" from Professor Appelt will be offered in the area "Mandatory Elective Courses" of COS from the summer semester 2023 onwards.
  • The course of the module "Industrial Organic Chemistry" from Dr. Klaus Kunz will be held as a block course during the lecture-free period starting in the summer semester 2023.
  • The course for the module "Drug Design" from Dr. Sven Kühnert will no longer be held in the summer semester. From the winter semester 2022/2023 onwards, the course will be held as a block course during the lecture-free period of the winter semester.

Winter semester 2022/2023

  • All combined mandatory examinations are separated according to the 8th amendment of the examination regulations (see "Changes due to the new examination regulations").
  • The module "Avancierte Koordinationschemie" from Professor Kögerler will take place every two years. The next course is planned for the winter semester 2023/2024.
  • The module "Supramolekulare Anorganische Chemie" from Professor Kögerler takes place every two years. The next course is planned for the winter semester 2022/2023. The modul will not be hold in winter semester 2022/2023!
  • The module "Einzelmolekül- und superauflösende Fluoreszenzmikroskopie" from Professor Wöll has been postponed to the summer semester.
  • The module "Mechanismen der molekularen Katalyse" from Professor Klankermayer has been postponed to the summer semester.
  • The module "Quantenchemische Simulationsmethoden für große molekulare Systeme" from Professor Bannwarth has been postponed to the summer semester
  • The module " Molekulare Symmetrie " from Professor Stahl will not be hold anymore.

Summer semester 2022

  • The module "Diffraktionsmethoden zur Strukturanalyse" from Professor Englert takes place every two years. The next course is planned for the summer semester 2023.
  • The examination for the mandatory course "Kolloidchemie" from Professor Richtering will be permanently changed to graded homework and an ungraded homework from the summer semester 2022.
    The course is renamed to "Colloid Chemistry".
  • The module "Einzelmolekül- und superauflösende Fluoreszenzmikroskopie" from Professor Wöll has been postponed to the summer semester and will take place in the summer semester 2022.
    The type of examination is changed to "presentation".
  • The module "Mechanismen der molekularen Katalyse" from Professor Klankermayer has been postponed to the summer semester and will take place in the summer semester 2022.
    The module ist renamed to "Mechanistic Studies in Molecular Catalysis".
  • The module "Quantenchemische Simulationsmethoden für große molekulare Systeme" from Professor Bannwarth has been postponed to the summer semester and will take place in the summer semester 2022.
  • The module "Mikrowellenspektroskopie" from Professor Stahl will not be hold anymore.
